Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for an 80-day assignment in Nevada, beginning Sep 21, 2026. This role involves a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient panel. The physician will utilize their expertise in geriatrics and preventative medicine, employing technology for efficient patient management, accurate coding, and charting to minimize hospitalizations for the patient population. Responsibilities and Duties Provide attentive and thorough care to patients. Ensure accurate medical coding and charting practices. Demonstrate proficiency in technology for practice management. Apply expertise in geriatrics and preventative medicine. Work towards keeping the assigned patient panel out of the hospital. Manage standard geriatric cases, including high, emerging, and low-risk patients. Additional Information Board certification in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or Internal Medicine is required. The client utilizes eClinicalWorks EMR. The role primarily focuses on managing a diverse panel of geriatric patients, stratified into high (15-20%), emerging (10-20%), and low (70-80%) risk categories, with the primary goal of maintaining patient health within the clinic setting.
