Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a Board Certified Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services to Veterans at the VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System in Bath or Canandaigua, NY. The physician will work within an integrated healthcare team to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care while complying with VA standards and federal contracting requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide full-spectrum primary care services to assigned Veteran patients, including preventive health, chronic disease management, and acute care. Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and manage conditions, and order appropriate diagnostic testing. Order and interpret diagnostic tests Comfortable handling 11-13 patients per day Required Qualifications Board Certification in Primary Care / Family Medicine / Internal Medicine. Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory. DEA registration and ability to prescribe medications. Comply with all background investigations and security clearances required by the VA. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience providing care within the VA or other federal healthcare systems. Familiarity with military or Veteran populations.
