Position Highlights Specialty:

Urology Open to experienced providers or new graduates (Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of completing residency)

Position Location:

Canton-Potsdam Hospital

• Canton Urology Clinic (Canton, NY)

Schedule:

Flexibility in schedule to meet a 40-hour work week

Call Coverage Requirements:

10 days per month of consult and procedural call

Practice Setting:

Outpatient Clinic with inpatient consults and procedures Average daily patient volume: 20-25 patients per day Inpatient and/or procedural responsibilities: Inpatient consults when requested by the Hospitalist team and provide surgical management when necessary Hospital rounding expectations: Round on surgical inpatients as needed in conjunction with the Hospitalist team

• Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs.

High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.
