Job Description
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and is seeking a full time Internist in the Department of Ambulatory Care to join as faculty. We are seeking a highly motivated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island. Responsibilities include direct patient care and the teaching and supervision of medical residents and students, in an academic community hospital setting. Candidates must have a MD degree and be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including CME. Compensation ranges from $224,000 to $229,000 plus faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
