Job Description

Primary Care Physician Compensation:
$208K-$223K pr/yr
Job Type:
Full Time, Monday - Friday. Day shift. Time split between 2 locations. Our client a well established FQHC in Nassau County, NY is seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Physician to add to there team.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of conditions in a general practice setting. Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging. Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and provide immunizations. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices. Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate follow-up care. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including appropriate coding. Participate in peer reviews, clinical education, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and billing practices. Participate in on-call and emergency coverage as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Holds a Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school Currently licensed and registered as a physician with New York State Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics or Family Medicine Serving both school-age and adult populations Ability to travel between 2 locations A passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Preferably enrolled in Medicaid
