Job Description

Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a Locum Tenens MFM Physician to provide high-quality perinatal care in New York. In this role, you will perform consults, manage high-risk pregnancies, interpret advanced imaging, and collaborate with OB/GYN teams to optimize maternal-fetal outcomes. Responsibilities include inpatient and/or outpatient coverage, clear documentation, and participation in care planning. You'll work with a collaborative, service-driven staffing partner that values integrity, responsiveness, and long-term relationships while offering flexible assignments that impact patient care across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities Provide maternal-fetal medicine consults for high-risk pregnancies Interpret and report advanced obstetric imaging and diagnostic studies Collaborate with OB/GYN and multidisciplinary teams on care plans Provide inpatient and/or outpatient locum coverage as scheduled Document clinical encounters and recommendations accurately and timely Communicate clearly with patients, families, and referring providers Adhere to hospital and clinic policies, quality, and safety standards Participate in handoffs and continuity of care for complex cases Required Skills Maternal-fetal medicine High-risk obstetrics management Obstetric ultrasound and imaging interpretation Prenatal diagnosis and counseling Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Interdisciplinary care coordination Clinical decision-making in acute obstetric scenarios Fetal monitoring and interpretation Procedural skills relevant to MFM practice Patient and family communication
