Job Description:
This Primary Care Physician role is based within a state correctional facility, providing essential medical care to an incarcerated adult population with complex medical, behavioral, and social histories. The physician delivers full-scope primary care, including chronic disease management, MAT services, preventive care, and urgent medical needs, often serving as a consistent and trusted healthcare presence for patients who have experienced significant barriers to care. In this setting, clinical excellence must be paired with empathy, patience, and respect, recognizing the humanity of individuals who are frequently marginalized and underserved.
