The successful candidate will provide leadership, mentorship, and operational guidance to a team of technologists while partnering with hospital leadership to achieve departmental goals. Essential Responsibilities Supervise daily Diagnostic X-Ray operations, including staffing, scheduling, workflow management, and patient care activities. Lead, mentor, and support a team of approximately 30 radiologic technologists and support personnel. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, New York State regulations, and radiation safety requirements. Monitor department productivity, patient flow, and service excellence initiatives. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Radiology leadership to implement operational improvements and best practices. Address staffing concerns and support employee performance management and development. Maintain quality assurance standards and assist with departmental audits and inspections. Promote exceptional patient care and customer service throughout the imaging department. QualificationsRequired Current New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist . ARRT Certification required. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment. Previous experience in a Lead Technologist, Charge Technologist, or Supervisory role. Experience working in a high-volume acute care hospital setting. Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and develop staff.
