Job Description
Our client, a reputable healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care, is hiring a highly qualified Endocrinologist. This vital role offers an opportunity to join a dedicated team in a thriving outpatient practice, focusing on diagnosing and managing endocrine disorders such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, and metabolic conditions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving patients' health and quality of life through comprehensive clinical care, patient education, and teamwork. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat endocrine conditions, including diabetes, hypothyroidism, and metabolic disorders. Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations, order necessary diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and tailor therapeutic regimens to patient needs, promoting health maintenance and disease management. Educate and counsel patients on their conditions and self-management strategies. Document all clinical encounters accurately within the Electronic Medical Record, including exam and progress notes. Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, high-quality care while adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Support educational initiatives and meet quality benchmarks established by relevant healthcare agencies. Build and maintain a robust patient base to ensure practice sustainability and revenue generation. Requirements MD or DO degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology. NYS Licensure. Postgraduate clinical experience in an outpatient, ambulatory setting.
