Job Description

Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Breast Surgeon to join its multi-specialty practices in Wantagh and Greenlawn, NY! The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is an integrated health care system providing exceptional medical care to local and global communities. Encompassing the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and eight hospital campuses in the New York metropolitan area, as well as a large, regional ambulatory footprint, Mount Sinai is internationally acclaimed for its excellence in research, patient care, and education across a range of specialties. The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with the world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai's Department of Breast Surgery is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. Responsibilities Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of a health system Benefit from the education, research, and clinical program of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, one of the top ranked schools nationally Significant opportunities for career development Dedicated support staff Qualifications Medical Degree from an accredited program New York State Medical License/ Active NYS DEA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgery Completed Accredited Breast Surgery Fellowship Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven department Compensation range from 300K to 500K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
