Company Overview Williamsville Psychiatry PLLC specializes in providing comprehensive psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults. Located at the intersection of Sheridan Drive and Country Parkway in Williamsville, NY, our practice is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to our community. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in clinical psychiatry, including working with diverse patient populations such as children, adolescents, and adults. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing medication management and psychotherapy to promote optimal mental health outcomes. This role offers opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient care, utilizing telehealth platforms as appropriate. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients across various age groups. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other evidence-based interventions. Provide medication management and monitor patient responses to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Deliver psychotherapy services including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and crisis management when necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to health regulation policies such as HIPAA and EMR/EHR documentation standards. Participate in intake assessments for new patients and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare diagnosis protocols. Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to mental health services while ensuring compliance with DEA regulations and addiction medicine guidelines. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry. Post-residency experience in clinical psychiatry, including inpatient and outpatient settings. Demonstrated expertise in working with children, adolescents, and adult populations with diverse mental health conditions such as PTSD, addiction issues, developmental disabilities, and geriatrics. Proficiency in psychiatric evaluations, medical documentation, and medical terminology. Experience with behavioral health interventions including crisis management, addiction counseling, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy modalities such as psychodynamic therapy. Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and EMR/EHR systems. Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Telehealth experience is preferred; familiarity with consultation-liaison psychiatry is a plus.
