This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for a predictable, limited weekly commitment without the demands of a full-time position. $220/hour 4 hours per week Every Monday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM No nights or weekends Consistent, predictable schedule Meaningful opportunity to provide psychiatric care to an underserved population Qualifications Licensed in the state of Ohio as an M.D. or D.O. with specialty training in Psychiatry Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Minimum of one year of clinical experience Ability to reliably commute to Stark County Jail in Canton, OH Responsibilities Assess patients' mental status and psychiatric needs and develop individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and monitor patients' progress Modify treatment plans based on clinical response and ongoing assessment Communicate medical orders and treatment plans to nursing staff Provide medical case supervision and psychiatric consultation Participate in case disposition and follow-up planning Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation Certify patients for inpatient hospitalization or acute psychiatric care when clinically appropriate Provide psychiatric evaluations as required by the courts Participate in committees and provide staff in-service training as appropriate Schedule Every Monday | 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM 4 hours per week

Stark County Jail, Canton, OH This is an onsite position. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the facility for the scheduled Monday afternoon shift. Relocation is not required.
