Full-time, Monday Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm

Commitment:

Minimum 1 week per month for 6 months (option to extend)

Licensure:

IMLC accepted LOQ must be in hand

Role Overview:

This position combines Interventional Radiology with general diagnostic responsibilities. The physician will perform a broad range of IR procedures and read from the general diagnostic worklist when not in procedures or fluoro.

Modalities:

Required:

General CT, General MRI, X-ray, IR, Fluoro Reads from general worklist when not performing procedures

Case Mix & Volume:

Variable mix of inpatient, outpatient, and STAT reads Workflow is old-to-new to prevent cherry-picking Typical volume: studies/day with 50% cross-sectional when not doing IR Expected to read between procedures as appropriate

Procedures:

CT/US-guided biopsies and drainages Chest tubes, thyroid FNA, LPs, myelograms, paras/thoras Neph tube placements/exchanges, suprapubic catheter placements Lung, liver, kidney biopsies PICC, port, and dialysis catheter placements All fluoroscopy exams Approx. 12 IR procedures/week + 10 fluoro cases
