Medical Assistant

The primary duty of the triage MA is to assess the patient's problem based on the conversation with the patient. This requires good clinical judgment, careful listening, critical thinking and assessment skills as they may deal with a wide spectrum of medical conditions. Position will require answering high volume telephone lines, triage of phone calls regarding medical concerns of the patients, prescription refills, obtaining prior authorizations, and referrals.

Requirements:

Two or more years experience as a Medical Assistant Previous experience utilizing an EMR; preferably Medent Friendly and Professional demeanor
