Day Shift Monday Friday 8 Hours/Day (Flexible Start/End Times)

Hour Shift Interview Process:
Phone Interview + On-Site Facility Tour Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for behavioral health patients.
  • Conduct psychiatric examinations and prepare clinical evaluations and reports.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and manage psychiatric medications.
  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests as clinically appropriate.
  • Refer patients for specialized psychiatric or medical services when necessary.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, peer reviews, and clinical meetings.
  • Practice in accordance with ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and American Correctional Association (ACA) standards.
  • Participate in collaborative practice agreements when required. Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Active Ohio Medical License.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR Certification.
  • DEA Registration (required for assignment; submit if available).
  • Experience providing psychiatric or behavioral health services preferred.
