Job Description

Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking an acute NP or a PA to be a part of our excellent Hospitalist Group. You will work in a beautiful 407 bed medical center with an excellent group of APCs and physicians. Residents and medical students rotate with our providers.
Position Responsibilities :
APC will be required to complete admissions, consults, subsequent visits, and discharges . Coordinate patient care alongside case management, social work, nursing, and collaborating physician. Round on average of 12-15 patients per shift. 7 AM to 7 PM, 7 on, 7 off Perform physical assessments on patients and complete patient histories. Order medications, treatments, labs, etc. as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board supervision agreement and the Mercy Health St. Rita's credentialing boards Be available for call about patient conditions according to the shifts schedule.
