Hybrid Outpatient Integrative Psychiatrist opening in Albany, OR Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our team in Albany, OR. This role will be split between seeing patients at our InterCommunity Health (IHN) integrated primary care clinic in Albany and supporting our collaborative care model (CoCM) referred to as Psychiatric Access Through Collaborative Healthcare (PATCH) program. The IHN clinic in Albany offers primary care with embedded mental/behavioral health team and full wraparound services. Our PATCH program supports mental health services through our system of primary care doctors by providing psychiatric chart review consultation and follow up in coordination with primary care providers. Psychiatrists and their families will appreciate the abundant outdoor beauty found around the friendly community of Albany, as well as proximity to the pristine Oregon Coast, Cascade Mountains for snow sports, vibrant Willamette Valley wine country, and Portland, Oregon's largest city - all within two hours! Job Specifics Hospital-employed, PSLF-eligible full-time role with telehealth availability At IHN clinic, provide outpatient psychiatric care 1 - 2 days/week alongside 5 primary care physicians, behavioral health consultants, care coordinators and MA support PATCH responsibilities can be completed remotely , reviewing initial interviews and charts by care team and then recommending treatment, medication adjustments or requesting diagnostic clarity Be supported by on-site Mental Health Specialists, who are trained to gather information via templates for the psychiatric consultant Mentorship, teaching and supervision opportunities with Samaritan Psychiatry Residents and COMP Northwest medical students if desired Some low-frequency call burden Starting bonus, relocation, forgivable loan, CME and full benefits package offered (paid med mal/tail) Job Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (new grads encouraged to apply!)
