Urgent Care Physician - Per Diem LiveWell Homecare Agency Beaverton, OR Job Details Per diem 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Post residency experience Medical License Full Job Description This Physician role involves independently diagnosing and treating acute conditions such as colds, flu, minor injuries, and infections, utilizing diagnostics and therapeutic procedures. Requires graduation from an accredited medical school and 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, preferably in urgent care or emergency medicine, with adult and pediatric practice preferred. Board certification or eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine and active state medical licensure are mandatory. Key responsibilities include patient examinations, history taking, diagnostics, diagnosis, prescribing medications, treating injuries, documenting notes, patient education, vaccinations, referrals, and supervising PA/NP colleagues remotely. Provides care for shifts of 8 or 12 hours, collaborating with team members, and acting as a supervising physician for PA/NPs during credentialing. Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills, along with EMR experience, are preferred.
