Urgent Care Physician - Per Diem LiveWell Homecare Agency Bend, OR Job Details Per diem 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Customer service Orthopedic splint application Acute care facility experience Post residency experience Suturing Medical License Full Job Description This position is for a physician in a clinical services setting, responsible for independently diagnosing and treating acute conditions such as colds, flu, injuries, and minor infections. Requires graduation from an accredited medical school, 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Must hold an active medical license and have experience in urgent care or emergency medicine, with skills in procedures like suturing and splinting. Key duties include patient exams, medical histories, ordering diagnostics, prescribing medications, treating minor injuries, documenting notes, patient education, vaccinations, and referrals. Potential to supervise PA/NP providers remotely and act as a collaborating physician during credentialing. Shifts typically last 8 or 12 hours, with other duties as assigned. Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong communication, listening, and customer service skills.
