Job Description

Description . This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality gastroenterology care in a collaborative clinical environment. As a Gastroenterologist, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive system conditions, perform endoscopic procedures, and work closely with patients to develop effective treatment plans. You will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care and improving patient outcomes within our medical practice. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy Develop and manage individualized patient treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and complete medical records Provide patient education on digestive health and disease prevention Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed Adhere to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives Stay current with advances in gastroenterology practice Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completed residency in Internal Medicine Completed fellowship in Gastroenterology Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology Active medical license in good standing Associate-level clinical experience in gastroenterology Proficiency in endoscopic procedures Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Commitment to patient-centered care
Schedule:
24-hour inpatient call shifts (7a-7a)
Duties:
Consults, procedures, rounding, etc. No clinic work ERCP required, EUS preferred
EMR:
Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
