Family Medicine Physician - Advanced Primary Care | Eugene, Oregon Shaping the Future of Primary Care Advanced Primary Care (APC) - Eugene, part of Praxis Health, is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician to join our growing Eugene practice. APC is reimagining what primary care can look like through an innovative, value-based model focused on access, prevention, population health, and meaningful patient relationships. Rather than simply treating illness as it arises, our providers proactively manage chronic conditions, close care gaps, and partner with patients to help them stay healthy and out of the hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a physician who enjoys both the practice and evolution of primary care. APC Eugene is growing, which means you'll have the opportunity to build your own patient panel while contributing your experience and ideas as we continue developing the model. Our ideal physician is comfortable with change, enjoys collaboration, and sees possibility in the future of primary care. Practice Highlights Four-day clinical week with 32 patient-facing hours + 8 hours of dedicated administrative time Lower patient volume and thoughtful appointment lengths to deliver exceptional and individualized care Adult primary care population, ages 18+, with an emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness, and population health Opportunity to provide a broad range of primary care procedures and women's health services Collaborative care environment with APP, behavioral health, clinical, operational, and population-health support Very light shared call Compensation & Benefits Base salary:$275,000 with a two-year guarantee Opportunity for productivity/quality compensation

401K and Roth options Malpractice insurance, Oregon licensure & DEA covered Qualifications MD or DO with Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Family Medicine Active or eligible for Oregon medical licensure Minimum of 2 years of post-training primary care experience required; 5+ years strongly preferred Strong foundation in comprehensive adult primary care and chronic disease management Experience with routine outpatient procedures Women's health experience highly valued Interest in preventive medicine, population health, and value-based care Comfortable practicing in a growing environment where processes continue to evolve Collaborative, flexible, and willing to contribute beyond traditional role boundaries when the team needs support Life in Eugene Set in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley, Eugene offers an appealing combination of outdoor recreation, arts and culture, excellent food, and an easygoing Pacific Northwest lifestyle. General Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings. OSHA Category This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
