- no hospital rounding.
Our practice closes at 5:00 Monday through Friday, with no after hours or weekend appointments. We offer protected administrative time each week. Looking for more connection with your patient families than a 10 minute visit with your hand on the doorknob? Small Town Pediatrics is designed to be profitable seeing 12 patients per clinician per day. That allows us time to connect with and serve our families. Our focus is on preventive care and developmental guidance, as well as managing children with complex medical needs who don't happen to live in population centers with tertiary care resources. Our capable team and smart scheduling ensures a good flow for the workday and support to meet our patients' needs. If you could deal with NextGen and Epic, you are going to love the intuitive nature of Physician's Computer Company (PCC). PCC is an independent software solutions firm exclusively working to meet the needs of independent pediatricians. With 35 years serving pediatrics and thoughtful improvements, PCC helps Small Town Pediatrics efficiently manage our EHR. Compensation $160,000 to $240,000 Includes minimum $160,000 base, 25% quarterly production bonus, annual profit sharing Additional Benefits Three vacation weeks in addition to holidays and winter break (week between Christmas and New Year's with no in-office patient care) Medical/Vision Benefits Matched 401K Retirement with immediate vesting Professional membership dues covered and a continuing education allowance Oregon Qualified Student Loan Repayment & Forgiveness Program Site Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy. Completion of an approved residency program in Pediatrics American Board of Pediatrics certification or eligibility Active DEA license to prescribe schedule II medications. All candidates must be fully vaccinated. An Oregon license to practice is required prior to an offer of employment. Preference will be given to candidates already credentialed with major Oregon and national insurance plans.
