Locums About the Facility This large community hospital in the Portland metro area operates approximately 300 beds and provides a broad range of clinical services. The facility maintains established workflows and resources to support outpatient specialty care delivery, including rheumatology services. Locum tenens clinicians will find structured clinical infrastructure in place to facilitate quality patient care. About the Facility Location Portland, Oregon offers a range of cultural and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The city is home to the Oregon Zoo, the Oregon Historical Society, and the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at Portland State University, a free public museum featuring works by Northwest and national artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat and David Hockney. Outdoor enthusiasts may explore guided trail walks at Hoyt Arboretum and the World Forestry Center's Discovery Museum, with seasonal events at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center and weekly gatherings such as the Portland Saturday Market providing additional options throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday The rheumatologist will provide outpatient rheumatology care for adult patients in a clinic setting, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The schedule consists of 32 patient contact hours per week, with an additional 4 hours allocated for charting and in-basket management. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Board certification in Rheumatology is required for consideration.
