Neurology Full Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a Neurologist (MD/DO) to join an established outpatient private practice in Springfield, Oregon. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a physician seeking a patient-focused outpatient neurology position with no inpatient responsibilities and no hospital call requirements. The practice offers a collaborative, physician-led environment, flexible scheduling, an established referral network, and comprehensive in-house diagnostic and specialty services. A partnership opportunity is available for physicians interested in long-term practice growth. Required Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Eligible for medical licensure in Oregon Strong commitment to patient-centered care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, APPs, and clinical staff.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of neurological conditions in an outpatient setting. Conduct comprehensive neurological consultations and follow-up visits. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, examination, and diagnostic findings. Order, interpret, and utilize appropriate neurological diagnostic testing. Provide ongoing management for patients with chronic and complex neurological conditions. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and clinical support staff. Coordinate patient care and referrals when additional specialty services are required. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable medical, regulatory, and documentation standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development.
