Job Description

Job Summary Geisinger Multi-Specialty Clinic in Lock Haven is seeking board certified or board-eligible Physician in General Pediatrics.
  • Provide health maintenance and acute care for patients newborn to 18 years of age
  • Assess and establish a diagnosis and implement treatment plans for their patients
  • Make accurate and complete entries into the electronic medical record; order and interpret diagnostic testing and consult as appropriate and prescribe appropriate medical therapy utilizing evidenced based practice
  • Outpatient only, with limited evening and weekend phone call coverage
  • 20-hour workweek: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional Saturday clinic coverage
  • Saturday acute clinic 8am-12 pm every 1:4-8 weekends, dependent on provider compliment
  • New Multispecialty clinic with primary care, some subspecialties, and Urgent Care on site. Lab, pharmacy and Radiology on site
  • Social work and psychology support for the pediatric clinic
  • Pediatric subspecialty support available through outreach clinics or Chart Consults
  • Opportunities for participation in medical student education and adjunct faculty at Geisinger School of Medicine Job Duties
