Position:
Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join a well-established inpatient team at Penn Highlands Mon Valley, located just 25 miles South East of Pittsburgh. This opportunity offers a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule, strong APP support, competitive compensation, and the stability of a growing nine-hospital healthcare system.Position Highlights Hospital-employed position within a financially stable health system 7-on/7-off schedule Day shift only: 7:00 AM
- 7:00 PM Join an established team of: 5 Hospitalists 2 Advanced Practice Providers Manage medical-surgical patients and Open ICU Telemedicine support responsibilities No procedures required Clinical Responsibilities Inpatient medical management ICU patient management in an Open ICU environment Respond to: Rapid Response calls Stroke alerts Code Blue events Collaborate closely with APPs and nursing staff Provide telemedicine support to regional hospitals when needed Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $300,000•$320,000 $25,000 sign-on bonus $10,000 relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits package CME package: $3,000 annual allowance 40 hours CME time Malpractice insurance with tail coverageHealth System Highlights Nine-hospital healthcare system Serves 29 counties throughout Pennsylvania Growing and financially strong organization Physician-friendly environment Strong specialty support throughout the system Collaborative leadership and clinical teamsIdeal Candidate Board Certified or Board Eligible in: Internal Medicine Family Medicine Comfortable managing hospitalized patients independently Experience or comfort with: Running codes Stroke response Rapid response situations Strong team-oriented approach to patient careCommunity Highlights•Monongahela, PennsylvaniaLocated approximately 25 miles South East of Pittsburgh, Monongahela offers small-town affordability with easy access to a major metropolitan area.
