Primary Care / Geriatric Physician - Unique Senior Living Opportunity Rose Haven at Mountain Top - Mountain Top, PA Rose Haven at Mountain Top is seeking a Primary Care Physician, Internal Medicine Physician, Family Medicine Physician, or Geriatrician who is interested in more than a traditional part-time position. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven physician who would like to develop a meaningful on-site presence within an established senior living community. This opportunity can be structured in several different ways depending on the right candidate, including part-time employment, independent contractor work, or a broader long-term physician partnership arrangement. What We Want From Our Medical Partner Our ideal physician will become a trusted resource for both residents and our care team.

Responsibilities may include:

Routine primary care visits Management of chronic medical conditions Medication review and management Evaluation of changes in resident condition Post-hospital and post-emergency-room follow-up Coordination with pharmacies, specialists, home health and hospice Communication with residents and families Collaboration with our resident-care staff Timely response to medical orders and clinical questions Proactive care intended to reduce unnecessary emergency-room visits and hospitalizations Ideal Candidate MD or DO licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or a related field Strong interest in caring for older adults Comfortable managing residents with multiple chronic conditions and complex medication regimens Responsive and accessible to facility clinical staff Strong communicator with residents, families, and caregivers Interested in developing a long-term relationship with the community Experience in senior living or long-term care is preferred but not required. Schedule Flexible / Part-Time The schedule can be designed around the physician's availability and the needs of the community. Compensation & Structure Competitive compensation based on experience and arrangement. For the right physician, we are open to discussing a variety of structures, including traditional compensation as well as a broader long-term medical partnership. This may be especially attractive to a physician or medical group looking to expand its senior-care practice in the Mountain Top / Wilkes-Barre / Hazleton region.
