Job Description

Vital Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Provider for a part time role to specialize in diagnosing and treating patients in a long term care environment who have muscle, bone, and nervous system conditions that affect physical and mental abilities. The ideal candidate will be well versed in all diagnosis, comfortable with the geriatric population, have advanced communication skills with patients and referring physicians, and be willing to provide professional insight into the rehab needs of the patients residing in skilled nursing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including physical exams, medical history reviews, and diagnostic tests. Treat a variety of conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, stroke recovery, and chronic pain syndromes. Manage non-surgical interventions including medication management, injections, assistive devices, and modalities like heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound. Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Perform joint, soft tissue, and nerve injections for pain management, as required. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PM&R treatments, techniques, and technologies.
