Non-Invasive Cardiology Location:

Somerset, Pennsylvania Job Summary We are seeking a General/Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join an established cardiovascular practice in Somerset, Pennsylvania. The physician will join a collaborative team of non-invasive and interventional cardiologists, physician assistants, and additional cardiovascular specialists. This position offers a balanced combination of inpatient and outpatient cardiology, with non-invasive cardiologists rotating between services. The practice has a longstanding presence in the community and provides access to comprehensive diagnostic and specialty services. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general and non-invasive cardiology care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Rotate between inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.

Conduct hospital rounds and provide cardiovascular consultations.

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.

Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac testing, including:

Echocardiograms

Stress testing

Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)

Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans for cardiovascular patients.

Participate in shared medical cardiology call coverage.

Collaborate with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, physician assistants, and other medical and surgical specialists.

Coordinate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives as appropriate.

Provide evidence-based, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

Qualifications / Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.

Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease/Cardiology.

Training and experience in general and non-invasive cardiology.

Experience with echocardiography, stress testing, EKG interpretation, and TEE preferred.

Current Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.

Eligible for hospital medical staff privileges and credentialing.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
