Job Description

Duties:
Provide clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases, preventive care, and coordination of care for a panel of primary care patients. Appropriate documentation of patient care in clinical records is expected. The physician leads the team in assisting the patient advocate and administration in resolving patient concerns and inquiries. The Primary Care Physician is assigned responsibility for a panel of patients at a specific location. The physician should have competence in effective teaching, monitoring and coordinating educational activities, including planning, evaluating and documenting. The physician may also have administrative responsibilities, including program planning, committee involvement, and other augmenting duties for the medical center, and making administrative decisions that affect primary care programs. The physician must have excellent communication skills
