Description Work in an inpatient facility and provide care primarily to hospitalized adult patients, performing both Internal and Family Medicine care for patients.
Specific duties include: support the clinical efforts of primary and specialty care physicians for hospitalized patients. Conduct history and physical exams on admitted patients, perform daily rounds, conduct consultations and perform discharge examinations prior to a patients release. Duties also include preparing documentation as it pertains to the case of the patient. Full-time; 26 weeks/year; 14, 12 hour shifts per month; 7 days on, 7 days off.
REQ:
M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent; completion of 36 months of medical residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; passage of USMLE steps 1, 2, and 3; and must have or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Medical License To apply, send CV to Shahd Majeed, smajeed@geisinger.edu
