Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) Office-Based Endocrinology | Corona, California Part-Time with a Path to Full-Time
POSITION OVERVIEW
New Age Endocrinology is seeking a California-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty endocrine care from our Corona clinic. This is an in-person workplace position for the clinician, even when the patient chooses a telemedicine appointment.
Patients are offered flexibility:
they may visit the clinic or receive care remotely from home. We encourage telemedicine when clinically appropriate because it can save patients travel time, expense, and energy. However, the NP/PA must be physically present at the assigned clinic throughout every scheduled workday so patients who prefer an office visit can always be accommodated. Most visits may occur by telemedicine, but this is not a remote or work-from-home position for the clinician. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly preferred and especially encouraged to apply. The selected clinician will begin with structured physician supervision and hands-on endocrinology training, then progress toward greater independence and full-time hours as experience and competency develop.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Evaluate established and new patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, and other endocrine conditions Conduct both in-office and telemedicine visits while working physically from the clinic Be available in the office for patients who choose face-to-face care Review and interpret laboratory results, imaging, continuous glucose monitoring, and remote patient-monitoring data Develop treatment plans under physician supervision Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, prescriptions, and follow-up care with support staff Complete accurate, timely documentation in the Tebra electronic medical record
PATIENT-CENTERED CARE MODEL
Our patients decide how they would like to be seen. Telemedicine offers convenience and reduces travel-related burdens, while the Corona clinic remains available for anyone who prefers or needs an in-person appointment. The clinician's daily office presence makes both options possible.
QUALIFICATIONS
Active California NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain one
Physician Assistants:
current NCCPA certification
Nurse Practitioners:
national certification through AANP, ANCC, or an equivalent organization; FNP or AGNP preferred DEA registration or willingness to obtain it Interest in endocrinology; relevant specialty experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates will be considered Comfortable delivering telemedicine from the clinic and using EMR technology Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment Bilingual English/Spanish communication is strongly preferred because many of our patients are Spanish-speaking; excellent non-bilingual candidates will also be considered
SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
This is an office-based position. The NP/PA reports to the designated clinic on every scheduled workday and does not provide care from home. The primary location is our dedicated Corona office. Wednesdays require in-person attendance at our Orange County office, alternating between Santa Ana and Newport Beach on a biweekly basis, for physician supervision and training. The role begins part-time and may expand to full-time as the clinician advances toward independent practice.
COMPENSATION
$60-$90 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. A supervised training rate may apply initially, with advancement to the full rate as the clinician transitions toward independent practice.
TO APPLY
Please submit your resume and a short note explaining your interest in endocrinology and this office-based patient-care model.
