Job Description

Inpatient Psychiatrist Join our dedicated team as an Inpatient Psychiatrist and make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults with complex mental health needs. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychiatric care within a residential setting, ensuring patients receive the support and treatment they need to progress toward recovery. You will work in a collaborative environment, responding to emergencies, conducting assessments, and delivering face-to-face evaluations, all while contributing to a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Required Skills:
Active Texas Medical License with no sanctions Current DEA certification Proven experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to adhering to facility policies and regulations Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience working with dually diagnosed adult patients Prior experience in residential mental health settings Additional certifications in crisis intervention or related fields
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution Prior inpatient psychiatric experience preferred Licensure and credentialing with hospital systems utilized by the facility
Other Requirements:
Must be certified in CPR through an American Heart Association-approved course and maintain certification Availability to start immediately, with a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, some remote work may be approved from time to time by leadership. No travel required This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $200.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, along with comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program. The initial term is six months with the possibility of extension, providing stability and growth opportunities within a supportive environment.
