Responsibilities Provide expert medical guidance and collaborate with healthcare professionals across various specialties including family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, and more. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments on an as needed basis, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, ensuring accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment plans. Be available for consultation with Clinic owner/provider to review patient protocols. Support Chief Clinic Director's Plan of Care and Standing Orders. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and EMR platforms to document patient interactions thoroughly and maintain precise medical records. Integrate diagnostic tools such as medical imaging and laboratory results into clinical decision-making processes to optimize patient care. Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that incorporate lifestyle coaching, nutritional guidance, and evidence-based interventions. Engage in clinical research activities or quality improvement initiatives to advance functional medicine practices. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and safety. Skills Strong knowledge of healthcare diagnosis across multiple specialties including gastroenterology, dermatology, cardiology, oncology, neurology, and others with strong emphasis on functional medicine aspects and treatments Excellent patient care skills with a focus on holistic health approaches, including health coaching and lifestyle modifications. Strong communication skills to educate patients on treatment plans and wellness strategies effectively.
