Job description: All for Health, Health for All, Inc. (AFH) has provided health services to the medically underserved and indigent community for over 40 years. AFH is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center and certified Patient-Centered Medical Home whose mission is to eliminate disparities in access to health care for the underserved multi-ethnic diverse population of Los Angeles, Orange County and Nevada state. AFH's services encompass general family practice, pediatric care, mental health, and behavioral health services as well as adult day health care services. We served over 30,000 patients last year with over 90,000 visits across a dozen clinic locations. Our comprehensive and integrated care delivery model is paramount to our success in ensuring continuity and coordination of care for all patients throughout their disease management. We are currently recruiting a Part-Time Psychiatrist. This is a rewarding and exceptional opportunity to proactively engage with patients and our care team. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments. Diagnose and treat a broad range of mental health and behavioral health conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs. Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychiatric medications. Provide ongoing medication-management visits and psychiatric follow-up care. Monitor treatment effectiveness, medication response, and potential side effects. Collaborate with behavioral health providers, primary care providers, social workers, and other members of the care team. Provide consultation and clinical recommendations to other healthcare professionals as appropriate. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care. Follow applicable federal and California laws, professional standards, organizational policies, and FQHC requirements. Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary meetings as needed. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program. Current and unrestricted California physician license. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe medications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Current BLS/CPR certification, as required. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Experience working in an FQHC, community health center, or with underserved populations is preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Schedule This is apart-time positionwith scheduling to be discussed based on organizational and provider availability.
Pay:
$150.00 - $200.00 per hour
