Working Conditions This position is physically located at the Allenby building in Sacramento County and is currently offered with the potential for a hybrid work environment. Consistent with Policy Directive 5338, Telework may be considered with prior approval from management. If approved, incumbent is expected to report to work at the Allenby building at least three times per week, as directed by their supervisor. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Medical Staff of Department of State Hospitals

•Coalinga requires Staff Psychiatrist candidates meet the Medical Staff criteria for privileging set forth in the facility Bylaws. This is a Tele-Medicine position. This Staff Psychiatrist will see patients of DSH-Coalinga via Telepresence from DSH Sacramento. You must write Tele-psychiatrist as the position you are applying for on your application. Position will be filled based upon budget approval. You MUST attach a copy of your current CV. Cut-off-dates are every other Tuesday beginning on October 2, 2026. Applications may be processed on a flow basis prior to the cut-off-date to meet the hiring needs of the department.
