Job Description

Join a team committed to delivering consistent, expert care to every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital. This role is built to improve patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring experienced OB/GYN physicians are always available to manage labor and inpatient care. You'll collaborate closely with local obstetricians while enjoying a schedule that supports an excellent work/life balance.
Location:
Newport, Rhode Island Position highlights: Competitive salary range of $300,000-$340,000 plus a full benefits package Full-time hospitalist role with flexible scheduling—typically 7-9, 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off each month) No on-call phone responsibilities and no outpatient office management Opportunity to set your own schedule and earn potential bonuses

Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Rhode Island medical license or ability to obtain one Proven ability to manage obstetric emergencies and provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-centered approach Commitment to clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement This is a rewarding opportunity to practice with autonomy, make a measurable impact on maternal and newborn care, and enjoy a high quality of life in a beautiful coastal community.
