Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, promoting health, preventing illness, and managing a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through proactive health management, thorough assessments, and personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough medical examinations and health assessments for patients across all age groups Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing a broad spectrum of medical knowledge including internal medicine, pediatrics, and family medicine Develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring patient-centered approaches that promote wellness and disease prevention Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as specialists in cardiology, dermatology, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), neurology, psychiatry, and more to coordinate comprehensive patient care Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance Provide patient education on health maintenance, lifestyle modifications, medication management, and preventive screenings such as immunizations and mammography Manage urgent care needs and perform procedures such as suturing or basic wound care when necessary Skills Extensive knowledge of family medicine principles combined with experience in inpatient and outpatient settings Proficiency with EHR systems like Epic or other EMR platforms for seamless documentation and patient management Strong diagnostic skills across diverse medical fields including cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, dermatology, radiology, and more Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Excellent communication skills for patient education and team coordination Experience with medical imaging interpretation and basic life support (BLS) certification preferred Familiarity with clinical research practices and adherence to HIPAA standards for patient privacy Join us in delivering exceptional primary care that empowers patients to lead healthier lives!
