Job Description

Join a well-supported hospital-based OB/GYN program in Myrtle Beach, SC, as a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist. This role focuses exclusively on inpatient care—no clinic responsibilities, no office management, and no traditional on-call duties—offering exceptional schedule flexibility, strong work/life balance, and practice within a high-quality obstetrics program that manages roughly 700 deliveries annually. You'll have control over your schedule, typically working seven to nine 24-hour shifts per month, with full-time and part-time arrangements available. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary labor and delivery team in a hospitalist model designed to maximize clinical focus and professional support. Compensation ranges from $300,000 to $340,000 annually, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage; 401(k) with employer match; CME allowance and professional development; medical malpractice insurance with unlimited tail coverage; leadership development; generous physician referral awards; and private peer-to-peer counseling resources.
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency; Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; active South Carolina medical license or eligibility; and current DEA registration. This is an outstanding opportunity for OB/GYN physicians seeking a hospitalist-focused position with predictable scheduling, competitive compensation, and the lifestyle benefits of coastal South Carolina.
