Job Description
MUSC Health Orangeburg Neurologist Join our team at MUSC Health Orangeburg as we seek a neurologist to deliver exceptional care in our vibrant community. At MUSC Health Orangeburg, you will work aligned with a dynamic 286-bed facility within a robust regional health care system, anchoring the northern region of the MUSC Health Charleston Division whose flagship Academic Medical Center is situated just 75 miles South of Orangeburg. The Medical University of South Carolina's Neurology program features the only Level 4 Epilepsy Center in the state, a comprehensive Stroke Center, a Parkinson's Foundation Center of Excellence, the first established state MDA Care Center by the Muscular Dystrophy Association, an ALS Association Certified Treatment Center of Excellence, and a newly renovated outpatient Memory Care Center. Join a practice with 1 Endocrinologist and 2 APPs Outpatient- clinic hours are 8-5 Mon-Thurs and 8-12 Fri Inpatient
- ED stroke support and rounding in hospital Clinic is located near the hospital. No call
- call is handled by tele stroke Full support staff Great volume with opportunity to ramp up quickly Providers can live outside Orangeburg and commute from vibrant communities like Columbia (40 miles) or Charleston (75 miles).
