Job Description
Description Job Summary:
The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships between StrideCare/PVIR and referring providers. This role supports referral growth, ensures exceptional provider experience, monitors referral patterns, and coordinates outreach activities including office visits, events, and education. The Physician Liaison serves as the primary point of contact for assigned practices, ensuring they have the information, resources, and support needed to refer confidently and consistently. Essential Duties /
Responsibilities:
Maintain a record of all referrals coming into PVIR. Build and maintain strong relationships with current referring providers. Market PVIR services to new doctors and practices. Review athena weekly to ensure referral information is accurately entered. Maintain a running log of all providers visited each week. Maintain a detailed mileage log. Create monthly outreach plans listing which areas and providers to visit. Keep an organized list of last office visits and monthly referral trends. Order and maintain marketing materials. Create monthly, quarterly, and annual referral reports to show trends. Plan and organize expos, conferences, and events and bring all needed materials. Organize lunches and deliver holiday gifts for referring offices. Required Skills /
Abilities:
Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage a weekly schedule. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to track referral trends and prepare simple reports. Comfortable visiting clinics and speaking with providers and staff. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with EMR systems is helpful but not required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in healthcare outreach, marketing, or physician liaison roles preferred. Experience in a clinical or medical office environment is a plus.
