We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 37-day assignment in South Dakota, commencing Nov 16, 2026. This role involves comprehensive emergency medicine care during night shifts, from 8 PM to 8 AM, including critical procedures, evaluation, stabilization of acute conditions, and patient transfers, with an expectation of managing emergency OB cases as needed. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care, including intubation, ventilation management, and line placement. Evaluate and stabilize patients presenting with acute medical conditions such as trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Stabilize and coordinate transfers for patients requiring a higher level of care. Manage OB emergencies and deliveries when necessary. Additional Information Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required.

Work Setting:

Emergency Department only; no OR or ICU available.

Schedule:

Night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM.

Patient Volume:

Approximately 1 patient per hour per provider.

Staffing Mix:

Onsite hospitalist department; 24/7 Life Flight service available for transfers.
