Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care and clinical leadership across local skilled nursing facilities in Cleveland, Tennessee. In this role you will collaborate with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for post-acute and long-term care residents, while overseeing clinical operations and supporting care teams. Key responsibilities Serve as the attending physician for assigned skilled nursing facilities, providing direct patient care, medical oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Partner with NPs and PAs to coordinate treatment plans, conduct rounds, and ensure continuity of care. Provide clinical leadership, support quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to facility-based protocols and best practices. Document encounters and communicate effectively with families, facility staff, and hospital providers as needed. Schedule and practice highlights Part-time role with highly flexible scheduling; physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week. No fixed daily start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities. Average caseload of 18-25 visits per day. Company-provided iPad with LTE for efficient documentation. New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply. Compensation and benefits Competitive compensation with earning potential above industry benchmarks. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine. Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
