Job Overview:
Under the guidance of the Regional Medical Director for the Upper Cumberland Region of the Tennessee Department of Health, the Physician serves as a primary care provider across the 14 counties of the Upper Cumberland Region, based in Cookeville, TN. The Physician is responsible for clinical duties of considerable difficulty, precepting advanced practice nurses and performing related work as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Plans, coordinates, delivers, and manages comprehensive health services for adults and children across various levels of care Precepts and collaborates with mid-level clinical providers Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion to enhance patient compliance with care plan Remains updated with best practices in medicine and provides patient- centered care
Minimum Qualifications:
