Baptist Memorial Hospital -Carroll County is a 43-bed acute care facility providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical services, including internal medicine, family medicine, emergency care, cardiology, pediatrics, surgery, physical therapy, and behavioral health. The hospital offers 24/7 emergency services, advanced diagnostic imaging, inpatient surgery, ICU services, and a broad range of rehabilitative programs, serving as a central healthcare provider for West Tennessee. Key Responsibilities Clinical practice Perform daily inpatient rounding, admissions, and ongoing management of hospitalized adult patients. Manage a wide range of acute conditions across internal medicine, including cardiac, respiratory, infectious, gastrointestinal, and complex chronic medical issues Coordinate care with specialists in cardiology, general surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and behavioral health as needed Collaborate closely with nursing, case management, therapy services, pharmacy, and ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide discharge planning ensuring smooth transitions of care and patient understanding of post-discharge instructions Utilize hospital diagnostic resources including labs, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine imaging, and respiratory services To learn more, apply today!
