Job Description

Knoxville Rheumatology PLLC is an independent rheumatology practice providing high quality, patient centered and compassionate care to rheumatology patients in Knoxville, TN and the surrounding areas. As one of the most respected and sought after Rheumatology practices in the area, we are a very busy practice and are seeking to expand our services. We are hiring an energetic and motivated Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to expand our service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing high quality patient centered medical care for patients being followed at the practice
  • Ensuring timely completion of documentation and charting for patient encounters
  • Reviewing lab results, records, patient intake forms and documentation
  • Addressing patient refill requests in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Addressing queries related to patient care from administrative staff to ensure timely coding and billing
  • Providing call coverage as appropriate
  • Ideally have some familiarity with intravenous infusion medications
  • Part time (2-3 Half days / week) with potential to increase in the future
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • TN State License
  • Valid DEA License
  • Ability to work in the US
  • BLS Certificate
  • New Graduates welcome to apply
  • Team oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
  • Willingness to learn
