Responsibilities Provide comprehensive gastroenterology evaluations Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy Manage inflammatory bowel disease and chronic digestive conditions Evaluate liver disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, and suspected malignancies Provide inpatient consultations when scheduled Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, primary care physicians, nurses, and APPs Participate in quality-improvement and service-development activities Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Qualifications MD or DO degree Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency Completion or anticipated completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure Strong procedural judgment and collaborative communication skills Practicing gastroenterologists and graduating fellows encouraged to apply Physicians completing training in 2027 or 2028 are welcome ERCP experience is welcomed but not required Visa Sponsorship Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
