Duties Conduct thorough skin examinations and diagnostic assessments utilizing medical imaging and clinical evaluation techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans for various dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and cosmetic concerns such as botulinum toxin treatments. Perform minor procedures such as biopsies, suturing, cryotherapy, and lesion removal with precision and care. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across specialties including oncology, immunology, pediatrics, and family medicine to coordinate patient care. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR/EHR platforms for accurate documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Educate patients on skin health maintenance, preventive measures, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness. Stay current with advancements in dermatology by engaging in clinical research and continuous professional development. Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Dermatology. Post-residency experience in dermatology practice or hospital settings demonstrating proficiency in outpatient and inpatient care. Extensive knowledge of dermatological conditions along with familiarity with medical imaging techniques used for diagnosis. Experience working with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for seamless patient record management. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including specialists in oncology, cardiology, neurology, and more. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and education. Basic life support (BLS) certification and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection. Ability to perform minor procedures like suturing and cryotherapy confidently while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique.
