JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses:
Active Tennessee Medical LicenseBoard:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (Board Certification Preferred)DEA:
Active Tennessee DEA RequiredCertifications:
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS Required if Not ABEM CertifiedExperience:
Prior Emergency Medicine Experience PreferredDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a community hospital setting
- Manage patient flow in a 24-hour physician coverage model
- Collaborate with NP/PA providers and multidisciplinary staff
- Document all encounters accurately within McKesson
- Allscripts EMR
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
