Job Description

Lake Granbury Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join its medical staff and growing surgical program. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-volume general surgeon interested in a broad, bread-and-butter surgical practice within a community hospital setting. The hospital is a Level IV Trauma Center and offers an established need for general surgical services.

The hospital provides medical and surgical services, intensive care, diagnostic imaging, emergency services, oncology care, cardiac rehabilitation, and primary care services. The facility is supported by an active medical staff offering care across a range of specialties. Community Granbury is a historic resort community located on Lake Granbury , approximately 35 miles southwest of Fort Worth. The area features a restored historic square, the Granbury Opera House , museums, galleries, dining, and year-round lake recreation, including boating, fishing, and water sports. Hood County is among the fastest-growing counties in Texas, and the area offers strong public schools and access to higher education through a Tarleton State University satellite campus.
